From Our Vineyard to Acclaimed Cellars

Perched 2,400 feet above the Pacific Ocean on the Mendocino Ridge, Mariah Vineyards is one of California's most distinctive vineyard sites, producing wines recognized for their complexity, elegance, and sense of place.

Farming with intention

We are a family-owned & operated vineyard growing high-elevation, dry-farmed mountain fruit. In this remote mountain landscape, we farm in collaboration with nature through a holistic, regenerative approach that nurtures a thriving ecosystem and yields wines of distinctive character and place.

Certified Regenerative and farmed without harmful chemicals, our vineyard is managed to build living soils, enhance biodiversity, conserve water, and strengthen the resilience of the land. Through thoughtful stewardship, we are committed to producing wines that authentically express both place and purpose.

We are farmers

We are Dan and Vicki, the founders, farmers, and stewards of Mariah Vineyards—our home and life's work. More than 40 years ago, we planted the first vines in this remote mountain landscape, building the vineyard by hand with determination, resourcefulness, and a deep respect for the land.

Over the decades, we have raised four children alongside our vines, nurturing both family and vineyard through the challenges and rewards of farming. By working with nature rather than against it, we have cultivated a thriving vineyard rooted in resilience, adaptability, and care. Today, that same commitment guides our regenerative farming practices and stewardship of this remarkable place.
